Chris’s Sign Service was founded by owner Chris Davies in 1991.
After recognizing a need in the industry for efficient and friendly sign service and maintenance, Chris started out his business with just one service truck. Backed by drive and determination to provide the best service and prices in the sign maintenance industry, Chris succeeded in creating a company that has drastically evolved into so much more.
30 Years Later
Today, Chris’s Sign Service has grown to over 50 employees, with a fleet of service vehicles and equipment to get the job done safely and efficiently. Our crews provide complete building renovation and maintenance services; lighting installation, maintenance, and LED retrofits; in addition to sign design, fabrication, manufacturing, and installation. Our work will leave your business looking and feeling brand new. No matter the issue, we can diagnose and retrofit anywhere in your building. From floor to ceiling, plumbing to electrical, Chris’s Sign Service’s skilled tradesmen are available to resolve it.
Over the years we have developed long and healthy relationships with many well-known brands: A&W, Best Buy, CIBC, Husky Oil, McDonalds, Petro Canada, 7-Eleven, Shell, Tim Hortons, to name just a few! We operate throughout British Columbia, with crews in the Lower Mainland from Whistler to Hope, Okanagan, Interior & Northern BC, as well as, Victoria and Nanaimo to service all of Vancouver Island. Our affiliate locations service Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario.

Our Training
Chris’s Sign Service is proud to have top of the line education and training for our employees. All of our technicians are P.O.S.T. Certified Contractors, and our company is COR Certified through the BCCSA (BC Construction Safety Alliance).
Chris’s Sign Service fosters a healthy work environment and continually strives for optimal safety in all of our job positions. We provide forklift training and perform hearing tests regularly to ensure our valuable team is equipped with the confidence and skill to complete each job safely and accurately. We provide in-depth training on the job for employees across all of our positions, and treat each new team member as close family.
